Intercollegiate Debate 2024
07/06/2024 The EUA team was recognized as the winner of «Intercollegiate Debate 2024» On June 5, 2024, the final round of the «Interuniversity Debate 2024» debate competition organized by the NPUA Student Council took place, in which the European University of Armenia team was declared the winner, taking the 1st place. In the final stage, the European University of Armenia team competed with the Armenian-Russian University team under the theme «Religious freedom in Armenia is a threat to the country’s statehood» and won. On the occasion of the victory, EUA students were congratulated by the EUA Rector Heghine Bisharyan, who highly appreciated their intellectual potential and ability to represent the University in a dignified manner on various platforms.

10/06/2024 A seminar – open discussion was held on the topic «Interchange of invention (composition) in works of fine art» At the initiative of Gevorg Grigoryan, a lecturer and mentor of the Chair of Design at EUA, a seminar – open discussion was held on the topic «Interchange of invention (composition) in works of fine art», which was conducted by Astghik Melkonyan, painter, restorer-conservator of movable cultural monuments, and Gevorg Grigoryan, lecturer of the Chair of Design at EUA. During the seminar-meeting the means of construction of the artistic form, the formation and development of the laws of composition, their transformation from the Renaissance to the 20th century were discussed.
Waste Management Policy in Armenia
11/06/2024 Advanced course within the framework of the «Waste Management Policy in Armenia» project was held in AUA The students of the European University of Armenia in «Law» specialty visited the American University of Armenia (AUA) for the purpose of strengthening their abilities, on the initiative of the Chair of Law at EUA and accompanied by the Chair’s lecturer and mentor Sima Iskandaryan. Within the framework of the «Waste Management Policy in Armenia» project, gender and human rights experts Anahit Simonyan, Laura Prokich and Khanum Gevorgyan held an in-depth course on human rights issues in the field of waste management. This experience allowed EUA students to gain a deeper understanding of the most important human rights issues in the field of environmental protection. International Educational Consortium was founded for the implementation of the EUA RAK CAMPUS project With the joint efforts of more than a dozen leading educational institutions from about ten European countries, an agreement was signed in the city of Munich, Germany, on the creation of the «International Educational Consortium». Among the educational institutions participating in the consortium are the European University of Armenia, the European Academy of Italy, the Poliarte Academy of Art and Design in Italy, the EKLYA Business School in France, the HYBRIA Institute of Business and Technologies, the French and European Colleges, the International Business School, the European Institute of International Languages, MCI University in Austria, Chelsea Business School in England, International Business School in Switzerland, Fachhochschule Dortmund University in Germany, Akkon University in Germany, Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in Nitherlands and other leading and prestigious educational institutions. IERA Board meeting IERA Expands Global Vision: Strategic Developments in the Arab Gulf, Central Asia In November 2023, a high-level meeting of the Board of the International Education and Research Alliance (IERA) was held in Yerevan, Armenia. This gathering brought together leading figures from member institutions of the Alliance and marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of the organization’s global vision. More News As a result of this meeting, a strategic decision was made to enhance the activities of the Alliance in the Arab Gulf countries, Central Asia, and Iran. This expansion reflects IERA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation and advancing research-based education across diverse cultural and geopolitical landscapes. The Board members and institutional leaders welcomed the launch of the European University educational program in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, viewing it as a flagship initiative that embodies the Alliance’s mission. The program was recognized as a model for cross-border academic innovation, and participating institutions expressed their full support and readiness to contribute actively to its success. A key outcome of the meeting was the reaffirmation of several strategic priorities: The involvement of distinguished European professors and scholars in teaching and curriculum development.
